26th of March (85th Song)

El Plan Perfecto

My friend Willy de la Vega is hosting a TV Show called "El Plan Perfecto". It's so great, I recommend it to you, if you like the snow. It's about having fun and spending your time in the best snow stations in Spain and Europe.  He asked me which song could he play for an intro of the show and I told him: "Hey, FORTUNA Quest is the answer, I can make a song for you", he gave me a deadline so I had to do it after work, I started at 1am, and got it at 5 or so. I sent to him and I went to the bed. When I woke up he told me that probably I had sent the song to a wrong email, his old one. So now he's checking if there's still a chance to play my song, if they like, of course. So I'm waiting for it. I used better instruments, don't ask where I did get them, shhhhhhhh.

Thoughts: Using best instruments meant upgrade the quality of my song exponentially. Wow, a Fender jazz precision bass, and a Philippe Dubreuille vintage guitar.

They sound so amazing comparing my instruments. Maybe it's time to think in buy new gear, but "with which money?" That's the question my friend. It's a priority now to get new stuff, so I'll try to save money anyhow.
All the songs that I record by myself sound a bit dark, I think it's something to do with the EQ but not sure how to make it better now. This song sounds a bit dry too, lack of reverb? A lot of things to think about, I like the song though, I used compressors, EQs, reverbs, noise gates and automatation and I did very quickly, normally I would last hours just to open all this plugins.
There's a lot of noise in the ending, in the long chord. I don't know how to fix that, because the noise gate would remove the tail of the chord too. Maybe a DI would make less noise?

Enjoy it!
